One day we went apple picking...

We went apple picking one weekend in October.

Here we have Amanda attempting to do sudoku with Gavin on her lap. Gavin was trying to give her hints the entire time but Amanda wanted to do it all by herself.

We went to Peddler's Village in Pennsylvania, and stumbled upon a Corvette show. Nice vanity plate: 2-SHAAY

Dog Run not Luna Run

Luna loves going to the dog run, just not to run more to dog watch and drool.

This meetup was the Halloween one, where all the dogs were supposed to dress-up. Here are a few of the costumes and a pink pomeranian.

When we got home we told Jack to come out for a bit. Jack's the supers dog. He's a yorkie, still a puppy.

An evening with the Cocco's

After having dinner with the Glantz's the night before we thought we'd top off the week with the Cocco's! We met at Ippudo, where we indulged ourselves with octopus sashimi, and pork buns.

With a finale of Ramen... mmm... mmmm... good...

Downshift Session Party

Staple got together with Sony Playstation to bring to life the Downshift Session. An amazing Party for the 10th Anniversary of Gran Turismo. The event was sponsored by Lotus, just check out this hot Lotus with graphics including STAPLE logos! I wish I could get this lotus as a hotwheels version.

Amanda took a turn on the projection screen game driver seat. Needless to say she's not a race car driver...

Haze took his art to a lotus that will be for auction.

Brooklyn Day

We took a trip to Red Hook, where we had to walk alot since the transportation was lacking... but it was quite nice and such a beautiful day.

After Red Hook we headed over to Carroll Gardens, where we met up with Liz and friends. Then took a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood.

So much fun the kids were passing out. Awww poor Keily and lil' Amanda.

This evening we took the time to have dinner with $teph in CHInatown, Pings was our destination. Later on we strolled by the chanel shop and would spot them setting up their new windows and an art setup by Tao Soju.



These monitors were wrapped like a Chanel bag, with details like a flap to adjust the monitors they were a techie fashionistas dream... Amanda drooled.

Banksy's got some interesting little friends

LA Business Trip

The week of October 1st I was invited out in LA for a event, the Imprint Culture Lab. I worked on the exhibition designs for the event, including all the signage and banners, down to the t-shirts the helpers were wearing.

Out in LA I was given a room at the Omni, which was next to the MOCA, and a few blocks from Carl's Jr. I got to watch my favorite host Jillian Barberie on Good Day LA, which took me back to the days when they were Good Day NY and I was in my college dorm watching them before any of my classes. This was my office away from my office.

The event went on with a few hiccups but all-in-all I would call it a success! Look out for the next one possibly in NY.

After it was all done, it was nice to sit down with some new people and just decompress from all the work that we did.

Cookie Break

After getting back from Jersey and walking around a bit, we decided to have a coffee break and pick up some soup at Once Upon a Tart... I sent Amanda in to get it, to her dismay she found this cookie. Sure there was an Amy, a Jonathan and a jhon but JERRY?! what does this mean... oh well, Amanda bought it and we devoured it.

It's been a roller coaster ride of things going on, and I haven't found any time to update the blog. But here's a snack of my going-ons.


I finally got the chance to meet Hello Kitty by Tom Sachs. I loved it! I discovered Tom Sachs when I peeked into his studio on Lafayette Street one day, It had a surf board on the ceiling and a hello kitty on his shelf which might have been the prequel to his final pieces.

That night we met up with the Reed Space + Crew at a karaoke spot. Needless to say it was the most unforgettable karaoke experience I will ever have. I hope...
